Starring with Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman, an epic Australian outback movie will start a new tourism campaign that has been made to bring back the “mojo” of the country and attract more visitors.

Directed by glitzy home-grown director Baz Luhrmann, this A$ 130 million film “Australia” revolves around an English aristocrat (Nicole Kidman) who fall in love with a rocky drover (Jackman) and  has an expansive property in legacy.

The las vegas hotels have always tried to lure people to their hotels by celebrity attraction. Once the chicago hotel industry used to do this too. Today every one, from orlando hotel to the new york hotels are doing this.

According to Tourism Minister Martin Ferguson, the movie will reveal little-known aspects of Australia‘s amazing natural environment, aboriginal culture and history. Martin further adds that he is hopeful that the movie will be watched by tens of millions of people.

With the launch of this movie Tourism Australia will also start a worldwide marketing campaign to lure the tourist. The movie may be released in November. Since Crocodile Dundee in 1986, the epic was tipped to fetch the biggest improvement in tourism related activities in the country.

Some cinema critics are of the view that the film may prove a mixture of Australian overused idea.
Tourist arrival in Australia is quite sluggish in Australia after 2000 Sydney Olympics and many tourism industry officials are hopeful that “Australia” will boost the arrival of tourists in the country.

“Australia” has been shot on different location in the Northern Territory capital Darwin, tropical city of Bowen and remote Kimberly region of Western Australia.
