Many veterans groups and others have criticized the move badly as they considering it a financial burden on airlines. However, many airlines have announced about waiving all or most baggage fees for the U.S. military active members during their official travels. On Friday, AirTran Airways, Northwest Airlines and Delta Air Lines announced that they were waving of baggage fees for U.S. military active members during their official travel.
